Parking at Telegraph Cove

As you enter Telegraph Cove, the paid public parking lot is immediately on your right. After parking, proceed directly to our boardwalk office for check-in, where our staff will confirm the daily rates and specific parking protocols.

Telegraph Cove resort takes pride in being able to present it to the general public in as close to the original condition as possible. You’ll love their cozy cabins and cottages along the boardwalk, modern condos, new lodge and the campground/RV park in the old growth forest.

Where should I stay for my grizzly bear tour?

We recommend staying directly in Telegraph Cove. Telegraph Cove Resorts offers boardwalk cabins, modern condos, and a forest campground just minutes from our dock.

What if there is no vacancy in Telegraph Cove?

Nearby Port McNeill is a 25-minute drive away and offers several hotels and B&Bs. For a more remote experience, Alder Bay (15 mins) and Port Hardy (50 mins) also provide excellent lodging and camping options. All require ground transportation to and from Telegraph Cove.

Do I need to notify Tide Rip Tours of my lodging?

Yes. Please let us know where you are staying when you book and check in with our office (by phone or in person) the day before your tour to finalize logistics.
